ABOUT

The Organ and Tissue Authority looks forward to welcoming clinicians to the 2023 Donation & Transplantation Conference 'Back to the Future' 2-3 May in Melbourne. 

Over the two days we will cover topics such as emerging practices and systems, workforce, consent rates and current and future infectious diseases, as we question what the future holds, what advancements are coming and providing a focus on returning organ donation and transplantation rates in Australia to their pre-pandemic levels and continuing to grow them into the future.

Inclusions

Exclusions 

  • Access to networking function, this can be purchased in addition to your registration for $85
  • Accommodation and/or flights are not included. However the Convention Centre, have discounted rates at surrounding accommodation locations. Please scroll to the information page to access link

NETWORKING FUNCTION

CONFERENCE NETWORKING FUNCTION

The conference network function will be held on Tuesday 2 May from 6.30pm - 10.30pm at Hopscotch Melbourne. 

Hopscotch Melbourne is located at Ground Floor, 4 Riverside Quay, Southbank. A short 10 minute walk from the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre. 

The networking function is $85 (inc. GST) to attend, please select your attendance through the online registration page.

Located on the banks of the iconic Yarra River in South Wharf, MCEC is just a short stroll from Melbourne’s dynamic CBD. On our doorstop, you’ll find South Wharf’s riverfront restaurants, cafes and shopping outlets forming a vibrant and engaging precinct.

Attendees travelling by public transport have tram, train and bus options available. We can also offer discounted parking on-site for you and your attendees.

By registering, you are confirming your attendance to the 2023 Donation & Transplantation Conference. Should you need to cancel you registration for any reason, please contact Keito Events in writing via events@keito.com.au.

The organiser endeavours to ensure that the published event program is correct at the time of publishing and at the conference. It may, however, due to unforeseen circumstances, be necessary to alter the program before the conference, and the organiser reserves the right to do so without notice.
 
You are also acknowledging your understanding that your accommodation for the duration of the conference is at your responsibility and cost.
  
We would appreciate appropriate behaviour at the conference and any/all social functions. It is at the liability of the delegate to ensure that there is a level of care of all surroundings and personal care.

How do I upload my abstract?

Abstracts are to be uploaded through our online system. Please see link here to submit before Tuesday 21 February 2023.

When do abstract's close?

11.59pm AEDT, Tuesday 21 February 2023.

When does the conference registration close?

Monday 24 April 2023, after this date you can email Keito Events at events@keito.com.au to process registrations. 

Where do I process my registration?

Registrations are to be processed through our online system, linked here. 

Where is the conference venue? 

The conference will be held at Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre at 1 Convention Centre Place, South Wharf VIC 3006.

What is included in my registration?

The full conference registration will include, access to all conference sessions as well as Morning, tea, lunch and afternoon tea.

Are flights and accommodation included in my registration?

Flights and accommodation are NOT included in your conference registration. This is to be booked directly through the hotels and airlines. Please see link to access discounted rates at Pan Pacific Hotel connected to the Convention Centre.

I can no longer attend the conference, can I get a refund?

All cancellations must be received in writing to events@keito.com.au. Refunds will be processed, if received prior to Tuesday 4 April 2023. Cancellations after this date will not receive a refund of there registration price. 

I have registered online however haven't received a confirmation email?

Once registered, you should receive your confirmation to the provided email address. The confirmation will be sent within 15 minutes of confirming your registration online.

Please ensure that you check your JUNK/SPAM folder, as it may have diverted to there.

I have a special requirement, how do I let you know?

All dietary and other requirements can be completed within your online registration. If you have already completed your online registration and believe this hasn’t been captured, please contact Keito Events at events@keito.com.au
